Welcome to Austin!
We're so excited to have you here. The main wedding weekend events will take place on and around South Congress, but Austin is easy to navigate and most neighborhoods are just a short ride away.
We've shared a few hotel recommendations below, but feel free to choose your own adventure. There are also plenty of great Airbnbs throughout the city. If you'd like help deciding where to stay or have questions about different neighborhoods, we're always happy to help.
❋ Getting Here & Around
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is about 15–20 minutes from South Congress and downtown Austin.
Uber and Lyft are readily available from the airport and are generally the easiest way to get around throughout the weekend (unless you ask Mikey, who will tell you it's a Lime scooter).
Soho House
South CongressThis is where we'll be staying! It's been our home away from home since we first started visiting Austin before we moved here. It was also the destination of our first trip together, which makes it feel extra special. Once the festivities at Only The Wild Ones wrap up on Saturday night, we'll make the short walk back here to keep the party going.
Hotel Saint Cecilia
South CongressOne of Austin's most iconic hotels and definitely a splurge, but if you're looking to treat yourself, it's hard to beat. We toured Saint Cecilia as a potential venue and were completely blown away. Fun fact: Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of music, musicians, and poets.
Hotel Magdalena
South CongressSituated between Soho House and Hotel Saint Cecilia, Hotel Magdalena is a great option if you'd like to stay close to where we'll be throughout the weekend. The property is home to Summer House on Music Lane, a great all-day restaurant, and Equipment Room, a very fun listening bar.
Frame Hotel
South CongressFrame has two properties on South Congress: SoCo and Treehouse. Both are peaceful, beautifully designed, and feel like a quiet escape right in the middle of the city. The SoCo property is closest to our Saturday ceremony and dinner, while Treehouse feels a bit more secluded among the trees.
Hotel San José
South CongressAn Austin classic and one of the original boutique hotels on South Congress. Charming, laid-back, and perfectly positioned for coffee runs, shopping, and wandering the neighborhood.
Austin Motel
South CongressOne of Austin's most iconic hotels and right in the middle of the action on South Congress. A great budget-friendly option with plenty of Austin character.
The Inn at Green Pastures
Bouldin CreekAustin's newest boutique hotel set on beautiful historic grounds. Mattie's restaurant is on-site, peacocks roam the property, and the whole place feels like a hidden retreat in the middle of the city.
The Carpenter Hotel
Barton SpringsAnother favorite of ours. Great coffee, a fantastic restaurant, easy access to the Lady Bird Lake Trail, and just steps from Barton Springs Saloon and P. Terry's.
The LINE Austin
DowntownRight on Lady Bird Lake with direct access to the Lady Bird Lake Trail. A great option if you'd like to be close to downtown while still having easy access to the water and outdoor activities.
Austin Proper Hotel
DowntownA beautiful downtown hotel (for our design people: designed by Kelly Wearstler) with one of Austin's best rooftop restaurants, La Piscina, serving some of our favorite fajitas in town.
Thompson Austin
DowntownA stylish downtown hotel surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and nightlife. A great option if you'd like to stay in the middle of downtown Austin.
